General presentation :
The Bulgarian-French association Lagarde Ltd. was established in Varna, in May 1989.
At its present stage the company produces bread and mouldings of different measurements
and packings : wheaten, rye-weaten, graham, croissants with a variety of stuffings,
pizzas and a wealth of pastires; such as petit fours, honey sweets, macaroons, eclairs,
cocktail pastries and others.
The production of fruit sorbets ( from fresh fruits according to the season )
and extremely high quality ice-creams with chocolate, caramel and pralinette, started in the
summer of the 2000. Mr. Lagarde, who makes the recipes trains the staff and controls the quality,
plays a leading part in the whole process.

Production :
The factory is spread out on an area of 1200 sq. m. The separate departments are located
there : baker's, confectioners, for the production of doughnuts, of croissants, of ice-cream,
as well as seven cold stores servicing all the departments and the forwarding.
The production of frozen bread and croissants started in September 2000.
Approximately 60 specialists trained by Mr. Lagarde work in the factory.

Big trade chains as METRO, PICCADILI, hotels in Golden Sands, Riviera, St. Konstantin
has contacted with Lagarde Ltd. But that's not all. Over 60 owners of small shops are
daily supplied with our products.
The co-operation with METRO - Varna, is a kind of continuation of already settled partnership
- METRO - France for instance.
The first step was a construction of a luxury shop, which attracts with the incredibly wide
range of products and gains confidence with guaranteed quality.
For the first time in Bulgaria Lagarde Ltd. Offers to its clients the baking of bread and
croissants in the shop itself. This service, which is already known everywhere in the World
is a pleasure for the people of Varna. They can buy hot, freshly baked bread during the whole week,
from 7.30 a.m. to 10.00 p.m.

Trade networks :
From its establishment Lagarde Ltd. Is aiming at the development of its own concept of Trade network;
that is the formation of small trim shops with an assortment of 150 kinds of articles minimum.
At present there are 6 shops located in the centre of the town near the big markets, as well as in Golden Sands.
Those, who would like to buy from the products can do it in the shop in 6 "Osmi Septemvri" str., Varna.
Assortment :
Around 20 kinds of bread with the trade mark of Mr. George Lagarde are produced in Varna .
The typical of the French cuisine croissants can already be found in Varna. The wide range of
pastries and salt cookies has been specially "designed" according to the Bulgarian taste and satisfy
even the most fastidious clients.
Six automobiles for quick and free of charge delivery everywhere in the town are available at any time.
